Nicholas J. Focht Jr., 80, of Whitehall, died March 8, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital Center, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Dorothy M. (Dankel).
Born in Bath, he was a son of the late Nicholas J. Sr. and Elizabeth (Moosh) Focht.
He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a welder for Lafarge Cement Company, Whitehall, for 44 years before retiring in 1999.
He attended Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Egypt.
He was a life member of Grouse Hall Fish and Game Association, Ironton, and a member of the Egypt Fire Company.
He is survived by two sons, Nicholas J. III and his wife Delores and Timothy J., all of Whitehall; a sister, Beatrice Green of Walnutport; a brother, Peter Focht of Walnutport; and a granddaughter, LeAnne Focht of Whitehall.
He was predeceased by a sister, Elizabeth Focht.
