Helen L. Poplasky, 92, of Bethlehem Township, died March 6, 2013, at her home. Born in Harvey's Lake, she was a daughter of the late James L. and Susan A. (Oney) Wickham. She was the wife of the late Edward "Popeye" B. Poplasky for 61 years.

She was a machine operator at the former Laros for 20 years. She was a waitress at Lehigh University for 15 years prior to retiring in 1974.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Hellertown Veterans of Foreign Wars (V.F.W.).

She is survived by two daughters, Susan and her husband Richard R. Fogel of Bethlehem Township.and Julie A. Mostek, wife of the late Gary Mostek of Center Valley; a son, Lester O. and his wife Rosalyn Clore of Bethlehem Township; two sisters, Norma Small of Swoyersville and Caroline Sanborn of Bethlehem; a brother, Asa Wickham of Martinsburg, W.V.; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a brother, Olen S. Wickham.
