Weisenberg and Northwestern elementary schools are planning a trip for staff, family, friends and parents of students to New York City May 4.
This is a fundraiser for the two schools' scholarship committees.
Trip-goers will tour the city on their own.
Pick ups at both schools is around 7 a.m. They will leave the city at 6 p.m.

Kindergarten registration for children in the Northwestern School District, who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, will take place at Northwestern Elementary April 3, 4 and 5.

Northwestern Elementary
Partners In Education will be having a movie night 6:45-9 p.m. March 15 in the gym. The feature movie will be "Rise of the Guardians."
Spring Book Fair runs March 21-27. This year's theme is "Story Laboratory."
Students will be able to shop during their regular library class.
Shop online three days before and three days after the in-school fair.

Literary Arts Night will be 5-7 p.m. March 26.
This is a family event that will allow particpants to enjoy many literacy activities hosted by the teachers at NWE.
The hallways will be decorated with student art work and the book fair will be open.
Weisenberg Elementary
Jen Ott, a Weisenberg parent and volunteer spoke at the March PTO meeting regarding the Fresh Air Fund program, which needs volunteer host families for 7- 10 days this summer.
Dates are: July 2-9, July 23-30, July 30-Aug. 9 and Aug. 9-16. Alternate dates are available.
