State police

Fraud reported

Police responded to a Feb. 4 report by a 54-year-old resident of the 3200 block of Cherryville Road that she received a phone call from an unknown person claiming he worked for Kenneth Miller and Associates.

The caller told the woman if she failed to pay amounts due on past debts a warrant would be issued for her arrest, police said.

The woman provided her credit card number and authorized a $2,000 payment, police said.

Forgery reported

On Feb. 9 at 4:25 p.m. police were called to The Downs, 1780 Airport Road, to investigate a report of a bet placed with a counterfeit $10 bill.

Burglary reported

A resident of the 500 block of Cedar Hill Drive, Hanover Township, Lehigh County, reported a burglary.

The incident took place Feb. 12 between the hours of 10:30 and 11 p.m. when someone entered the resident's bedroom and took several pieces of jewelry, police said.

Woman charged

with DUI Feb. 15

Barbara Hanlon, 75, of Northampton, was charged with DUI.

According to police, Hanlon was traveling west on Hillside Road, toward Seemsville Road Feb. 15 at 11:39 p.m. when she failed to negotiate a right turn and traveled onto the yard in the 3000 block of Seemsville Road, Allen Township.

Hanlon had a blood-alcohol level of .16 percent, according to police.

Rings stolen

A 20-year-old Easton resident reported jewelry stolen from McCann School of Business, 2200 N. Irving St., Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

The victim told police she took off her rings and placed them on a table, later to discover they were missing, police said.

The incident took place Feb. 20.

Tires stolen

On Feb. 25 state police responded of tires stolen from BJ's Wholesale Club.

Police said two Hispanic men between 25 and 30 years of age, drove up to an unsecured and open semitrailer in the rear parking lot of the business, located at 1785 Airport Road, Hanover Township, Lehigh County.

They stole four used vehicle tires from the trailer, loaded the tires into a small black trailer hooked up to their green Mitsubishi SUV and drove away, police said.
