Rose M. Tapler, 90, of Coplay, died Feb. 21, 2013, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of the late John "Shorty" J. Tapler.

Born in Beersville, she was a daughter of the late Julius and Sophie (Puskaritz) Bodish.

She was the marking manager for the former Hess's Department Store, Allentown.

She was a member of St. Peter R.C. Church, Coplay, and its Altar and Rosary Society.

She was a member of the Coplay Senior Citizens.

She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis and her husband Kenneth Stoudt of Allentown; two sons, David and his companion Jewel Bertuzzi and Garry and his wife Kathy, all of Coplay; nine grandchildren, Cory Stoudt, Megan De Jesus, Tiffany, Shawn, Garry Jr., Steven, Aidan, Cameron and Heather Tapler; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph and his wife Jean Bodish of Schnecksville; and a sister, Hilda and her husband Wilson Andrew of Saylorsburg.

She was predeceased by a brother, Julius Bodish; and two sisters, Anna Hader and Sophie Piller.
