Mary Alice Cassler, 71, of Whitehall, died Feb. 12, 2013, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit. Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Philip O. and Marion (Snyder) Cassler.

She was a sales associate at Sam's Club, Allentown, since 1997. Before that, she worked at Woolworth's, Whitehall, for 35 years.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua.

She is survived by four nieces, Loretta A. James, Phyllis A. and Brenda M. Cassler and Danielle J. Vaughn; and three honorary grandchildren, Jason K., Ian P. and Evan T. James.

She was predeceased by a brother, Philip I. Cassler; and a nephew, Philip D. Cassler.
