Lee R. Sieger, 81, of Coplay, died Feb. 24, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Doris A. (Fox) Sieger for 61 years.

Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Lee B. and Lulu (Holwig) Sieger.

He was a junior high school Geography teacher for 35 years with the Northampton Area School District, retiring in 1989.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay.

He was a member of various Coplay community and civic organizations. He was the youngest Coplay American Legion baseball team member to have played with the team at Shibe Park, Philadelphia.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Robin H. and her companion Monte Goetzman of Palmetto, Fla., and Stacy L. and her husband Dean Biechy of Northampton; and two grandchildren, Gretchen G. and Granden G. Goetzman, both of Florida.
