The Lehigh Valley Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame is having the Football Scholar Athlete Banquet on Sunday, March 3, at 4:30 p.m. at the Northampton Community Center.

Whitehall will be represented by Jacob Scott Rex.

A 5-10, 185-pound fullback and linebacker, Rex ranks 2nd out of 369 students. He is an honor roll student, National Honor Society member and a National Merit Scholar, where he was honored as a commended student.

He is a class officer in student government and a member of the weightlifting and ski clubs. He is a Dwight D. Eisenhower Leadership Award winner and was honored as a chapter representative at West Point. His community activities include involvement in the Big Brother/Big Sister program.
