Some 180 student musicians from 45 middle schools in seven counties came together at Saucon Valley High School, Hellertown, to participate in the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association District 10 Intermediate Band and Orchestra Fest.

The Feb. 1 event brought the students and their band directors to the school for lessons and rehearsals all day before they presented a concert that evening in the auditorium. Guest conductors for the concert were Debra Reilly, string orchestra, and Dr. Scott Watson, band.
