James E. Eagle, 66, of Walnutport, died Feb. 9, 2013, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Catherine E. (Roguski) Eagle for 41 years.

Born in Lynchburg, Va., he was a son of the late John Elridge and Ira (Burt) Eagle Leabold.

He was in the U.S. Navy.

He worked at Tarkett Inc. for 30 years. Most recently he was the courier for Health Network Laboratories.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Linda M. and her husband Dan Gunkle of Northampton, Jennifer A. and her husband Corey Cole of Walnutport, and Karen L. and her husband Charles Shaffer of Hagerstown, Md.; six grandchildren, Spencer, Adam, Dominick, Alyx, Mason and Madison; two brothers, John Elridge Eagle Jr. and Johnny Eagle Sr.; and two sisters, Ann Hall and Katie M. Watson, all of Virginia.

He was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Eagle.
