Sean W. Casey, 20, of Whitehall, died Feb. 6, 2013, at Chester County Hospital, West Chester.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of William and Mary (Chomack) Casey.
He was a 2010 graduate of Whitehall High School. He was a third-year honors student, majoring in music education, at West Chester University.
He worked at Chipotle Mexican Grill, Whitehall.
He was a member of and an altar server at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.
He was a member and treasurer of Phi Mu Alpha sinfonia music fraternity, Honors Student Association and a student director who worked in the Sykes Student Union Hall. He was a member of the West Chester University Marching Band and the basketball band. He was the founding member of the SOCO project band. He was a Lehigh Valley ASA-sanctioned softball umpire.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Kimberly A. Casey of Whitehall; a great aunt, Margaret Novak of Schnecksville; a great uncle, Jack Dietz of Dunmore; girlfriend, Bridget Cotellese of West Chester; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by paternal grandparents; James and Catherine Casey; and maternal grandparents, Andrew and Dorothy Chomack.
