There will be a roast beef dinner at Egypt Community Church, 4129 S. Church St., on Saturday, Feb. 23, 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tickets will be on sale at the door and takeout meals are available. The cost of the meal includes beverages and dessert.

Proceeds from the fundraising dinner will benefit the church's many missions. The snow date is March 2.

The Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church youth group is selling Uncle Paul's pierogies and Milander's hoagies.

Pierogies come in potato and cheese, weinkraut and apple. Hoagies come in Italian, turkey, roast beef and tuna varieties.

The Egypt Memorial Park will be hosting a kids/family bingo on Sunday, Feb. 17. Prizes will be family-oriented such as gift cards and fun baskets.

The Laurel Fire Company is sponsoring a St. Patrick's Day Dance on Saturday, March 9. The doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Mark your calendar for Laurel's Easter Ham Raffle on March 17 from 2-6 p.m. Twenty hams will be given away, with many more raffles throughout the day.

Tickets may be purchased through the bar or by asking a member. Refreshments and one meal are included with the price of the ticket.
