David F. Cressman, 76, of Allentown, died Jan. 20, 2013, at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Doris (Reppert) Cressman for 51 years.

Born in Breinigsville, he was a son of the late Wilbur and Hilda (Frantz) Cressman.

He was an U.S. Army veteran.

He operated Ironton Livery & Coach for the past 25 years. Before that, he was a carpenter. He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church, Orefield.

He was a member of Carriage Operators of North America and the American Morgan Horse Association.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Donna and her husband Phillip Sell of Hartwick, N.Y., Dawn of Trexlertown and Dyanne and her husband Jonathan Geiger of Wescosville; a brother, Marvin and his wife Kathryn Cressman of Round Rock, Texas; and 17 grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Debbie; and a sister, Verna Gehman.
