Heidelberg
On Feb. 5, Heidelberg Association of Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., will get together again in Heidelberg Church's Fellowship Hall 11 a.m.
This group of retires meets the first Tuesday of each month. All retires are welcome to join them.
Remember, you do not have to be a Heidelberg Church member to attend.
After a brief meeting and a delicious pot luck lunch, this busy bunch of retirees will spend the afternoon listening to the vocal talents of local resident Jack Snyder, who will be singing his uplifting Gospel music.
As always, bring along a friend or two, and a covered dish to share.
For additional information, call Katherine Blose at 610-336-0555 or Eleanor Klevenhagen at 610-767-5065.

Requests for baked good donations for the Allentown Soup Kitchen are being made for Feb. 11.
Baked goods decorated for Valentine's Day will be gratefully accepted.
Donations may be dropped off at Heidelberg Church's Fellowship Hall 6-7 p.m. that day.
According to soup kitchen organizer Dawn Fisher, 175 meals were served recently to the hungry and homeless coming in from the cold for a good hot meal.
The meal consisted of chicken pieces, mashed potatoes and gravy, tossed salad, fruit cup and scrumptious chocolate baked goods from loyal Heidelberg bakers.
The vegetables for the salad were purchased with Heidelberg Church donations.
Special thanks to the following volunteers of the day: Eleanor and Ron Klevenhagen, Julia and Arlan Hill, Doris and Richard Koenig, Shirley Boger, Howard Truitt, Joan and Carl Hein, and Dawn and Ed Fisher.
"Thank you everyone for your faithful support," Fisher says.
To find out more about helping at the soup kitchen, contact Dawn at 610-266-0414.
