Darlene F. (Frantz) Roth, 82, of Quakertown and formerly of Northampton, died Dec. 28, 2012, at Life Quest Nursing Center, Quakertown. She was the wife of the late James D. Roth who died in 2009.

Born in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Dorothy (Grube) Frantz. She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Northampton.

She is survived by a daughter, Claire L. and her husband Kenneth Quire of Coopersburg; son, Eric A. and his wife Carolyn of Glen Mills; two sisters, Jean and her husband Harold Gogel of Nazareth and LaRue of Allentown; five grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Contributions may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church memorial fund, c/o the funeral home.
