Stephen S. Deutsch, 89, of Fullerton, died peacefully Dec. 28, 2012, at the home of his daughter in Catasauqua, surrounded by his loving and dedicated family. He was the husband of the late Kathryn E. (Eisenhard) Deutsch for 52 years. Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Joseph and Pauline (Schmidt) Deutsch.

He was a dedicated member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Allentown.

He served in Europe with the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Post 454, Northampton.

He worked for Bethlehem Steel for over 27 years, retiring in 1987.

He is survived by daughters, Karen L. and her husband Joseph Schmidt of Northampton, and Donna M. and her husband John Troiano of Catasauqua; grandchildren, Nicole, Briana, Dana, Stephanie, Adrian, Tara, Michael and Evan; great-grandchildren, Addison and Ella; constant companions, Rio and Inga; sister, Marie. He was predeceased by a sister Pauline Kuchera and brothers John and Joseph.
