Laura (Stesney) Kordelski, 51, of Allentown, died Dec. 27, 2012, as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Springfield, Va. Her father, Peter Stesney Jr., also died in the accident.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Peter Jr. and Arlene Stesney.

She worked for Weis Markets at the deli counter for several years.

She attended St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Cherryville.

She was member of the Ladies Auxiliary, V.F.W. Post 7293, Whitehall-Egypt.

She is survived by a daughter, Kathy J. Shook and her companion Henry Geiger of Coplay.; a sister, Doris Harness of Norfolk, Va.; three grandchildren; stepmother, Joan Matuskowita of Allentown; and a stepsister, Charlene A. Matuskowitz/Mateus and her husband Michael Petruska of Walnutport.

She was predeceased by a brother, Peter Stesney.
