It's time to get the sign-up dates on your calendar for youth who plan to be involved in spring sports at the Egypt Memorial Park.

Softball and baseball sign-ups will take place on Saturdays, Jan 19, Jan. 26 and Feb. 9, 9 a.m. until noon. Park association volunteers will be on duty at the snack stand during those times.

Parents must bring a photocopy of the child's birth certificate if the youth has not participated in a park sports program in the past.

Softball teams being fielded are Prep, 10-U and 12-U and will compete in the Parkland League. T-ball and Grasshopper teams will play in the Whitehall In-House League.

All baseball teams (Biddy, Midget, Knee-Hi and Majors) will compete in the Central Whitehall League.
