The Journeymen of Union Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, will have their annual chicken pot pie dinner 4:30-7 p.m. on Jan. 12.
The meal, which also will be available for take-out, also includes applesauce, pickled cabbage and dessert.
Tickets may be purchased at the door, but receive a discount by obtaining them in advance.

On Jan. 13, at 6 p.m., Union Lutheran will bring back by popular demand its Karaoke Café for a night of fun, fellowship, desserts and song.
You don't have to be a singer for this fun-filled evening. Just come and enjoy the laughs.
The Social Ministries Committee of Union Lutheran is collecting used or unused hearing aides for the Travelers Protective Association.
The hearing aides will be refurbished and distributed to children and adults who need them.

The Upper Lehigh Lions Club will have a breakfast 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Jan. 13 at the Schnecksville Fire Hall.
The all-you-can-eat meal includes pancakes, sausage, scrapple, ham, scrambled eggs, homefries and beverages.

Lion Tom Kern reports 591 persons were served at the Dec. breakfast.
The Lions and their spouses recently baked cookies for Meals on Wheels recipients.
They prepared 72 boxes of cookies as a holiday treat for those who receive Meals on Wheels.
The Upper Lehigh Lions' Club's first project of service to the community was the distribution of 20 Christmas baskets to needy local families in December 1947.
Arthur J. Henry, the club's first president, recruited 60 businessmen to become charter members of the Upper Lehigh Club 65 years ago.
Henry served two terms as the club's first president and was also District 14-K's first governor from 1950-51.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will have a service of covenent renewal and communion on the first Sunday of the new year, Jan. 6.
The following Sunday, Jan. 13, the confirmation class will lead the worship services at 8 a.m. and at 10:30 a.m.
The church hosts a Mommy and Me class 9:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m. Wednesdays for 2-year-olds and an accompanying adult.
Each session includes learning centers, gross motor activity, storytime and a snack.
