Jaenis N. Delossantos, 18, of Catasauqua died together with her boyfriend, Thomas Bono, December 29, 2012, as a result of an automobile accident in Catasauqua.
Her death will glorify God as she did not die in vain but rather to send a message to all and especially youth to glorify God and seek him while he is near. Born in New Jersey, she was the daughter of Juan and Denise (Gonzalez) Pena.
She was a senior at Catasauqua High School and played volleyball and was known for her bright and bubbly personality. She loved shoes and was a hard worker working for Traffic Shoe Store in the Lehigh Valley Mall.
She is survived by her parents; brothers, Gardy and Jeffrey and sister, Perla; maternal grandmother Secundina Echeverria; niece, Maraya Hernandez; nephews, Izayah Hernandez and Christian and Joel Delossantos.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, in the Brubaker Funeral Home Inc., 234 Walnut St., Catasauqua. The viewing will be held 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, in the funeral home.
