Edward R. Mickowski, 70, of Allentown, died Dec. 22, 2012, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. He was the companion of Marian Pavlick, Allentown, with whom he resided.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Edward and Helen (Zych) Mickowski.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.

He co-owned the Arch Street Hotel, North Catasauqua, with his companion. He worked in the rolling mills for the Bethlehem Steel Corporation for 36 years before retiring.

He was a member of the Catasauqua American Legion Post 215 and the United Church of Christ Dart League.

He is survived by his companion's family, Veronica Aiken, Kathleen Kurtz, Julia Weil, Timothy Pavlick, grandchildren; great grandson; and his aunts and uncles.
