Clyde E. Buchman Jr., 86, of Macungie, died Dec. 21, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. he was the husband of Grace L. (Hopkins) Buchman of Macungie.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clyde E. Sr. and Sarah (Leiser) Buchman.

He was in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He worked for Ingersol Rand, Allentown, for 43 years, first as a machinist and was in the office and supply department upon retirement. More recently, he worked for Lighting Fixture and Supply, Allentown, for 11 years.

He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Allentown, where he was on the building committee for the Springhouse Road facility.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Barbara and her husband Robert Reighard of Fogelsville and Dianne and her husband Owen Maguire; a son, William and his wife Linda; 13 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Ralph.
