Come and spend a fun afternoon swapping knitting tips and tricks with the Knitting Circle from 1:30-4 p.m. Dec. 27 at the Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave, South Whitehall.

Bring knitting materials and enthusiasm.

The Knitting Circle is for knitters of all ages and skill levels.

Family storytimes begin 10:30-11 a.m. on Jan. 9, 2013, for children 18 months to 3 years.

There will be stories, songs and games for the whole family to share.

Younger and older siblings may attend.

An adult must stay with each child. Registration is required to attend.

Preschool Storytimes for children ages 3-5 will take place 1-1:30 p.m. on Jan 9, 2013 at the library.

There will be stories, songs, games and crafts for all preschools. Parents must stay in the library, but do not have to attend storytime with the children. Registration is needed.

Night at the Movies will be presented from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 9, 2013, in the library.

Trexlertown Fire Company, 7723 Hamilton Blvd, Trexlertown, will have its monthly breakfast from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on the second Sunday of each month.
