Sharen D. Missimer, 71, of North Whitehall Township and formerly of North Catasqua, died Dec. 18, 2012, in her home. She was the wife of Bruce R. Missimer for 34 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Vincent D. and Jean M. (Reese) Dougherty.

She worked for the County of Lehigh, District Court Clerk, for many years, retiring in 2008.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Egypt.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Gina A. and her husband Jeffrey Barber, with whom she resided; a son, Jamie D. and his wife Lisa Klotz of Fleetwood; seven grandchildren, Julia, Jonathan, Lauren, Shaina, Kayleigh, Mike and Danny; a great-granddaughter, Autumn; a sister, Ruthi Stanley of Catasauqua; and four nephews, Don, David, Daniel and Devin.

Contributions may be made to a church of ones choice.
