James R. Andrews, 66, of North-ampton and formerly of Carbondale,died Dec. 18, 2012, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Susan (Brady) Andrews for 43 years.

Born In Carbondale, he was a son of the late George and Helen (Alex) Andrews.

He was a Marine during the Vietnam era, during which he received the Marine Corps Dress Blues Award which was given to the most outstanding Marine in his platoon.

He was a business manager for the Laborers Local Union 158 from which he was retired.

He was a member of The Church of Notre Dame of Bethlehem.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Jamie of Bethlehem, Jason and his wife Jennifer Andrews of Blue Bell and Matt and his wife Olivia of Harleysville; a daughter, Jennifer Andrews of Northampton; and four grandchildren,Tatum, Chase, Tess and Lola.
