Students will be dismissed noon Dec. 21 for a teacher-in-service day. Afternoon kindergarten is to attend school that day.

School will be closed Dec. 24 through Jan. 1, 2013. Classes resume Jan. 2, 2013.

When a decision is made to close school, to have a delayed starting time, or for an unscheduled early dismissal; Connect Ed, will notify parents.

As winter is fast approaching, send students to school wearing the proper clothing. They go outside for recess unless it is precipitating or the temperature with wind chill is 15 degrees F or below.

Northwestern Elementary

There is a Partners in Education Movie Night scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Dec.14 in the gym. The movie will be "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."

There will be a first-grade cookies and cocoa party 9:30 a.m. Dec.17.

Weisenberg Elementary

The holiday concert will be presented 10 a.m. Dec.18. Snow date 10 a.m. Dec. 19.
