LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

MS, HS Happenings

Northwestern Lehigh High School Guidance Counselors Erica Gross, Carissa Snyder and Angela Traub want to continue the tradition of making Christmas a little more special for some high school students in the district.

They have identified at least 48 families who could use help this holiday season.

The families will remain anonymous. Only the guidance counselors will have contact with them.

Purchase a gift card, such as Giant, Weis, Walmart, Kohl's or Target, to be given to these families.

The card can be for any amount denomination but $20 per card is the average.

Gift cards will be collected and given to the high school counseling office for distribution.

Do not wrap the gift cards.

They will be appropriately allocated by the guidance counselors, so parents can shop for gifts for their own families, who might not otherwise be able to provide gifts for them.

Gift cards must be dropped off on or before Dec. 13 to Mrs. Redline in the high school attendance office or Mrs. Kokos in the high school counseling office.

For more information, email hscounselor@nwlehighsd.org.
