Farmer and Heidelberg Township Supervisor David Fink of Germansville was presented the 2012 Haymaker of the Year award by the National Hay Association at their recent convention.

The award is presented to an individual who has made great contributions to the hay industry.

A fourth generation farmer and owner of Heidel Hollow Farm Inc., Fink has been producing and exporting hay for more than 30 years to various countries.

He was also elected second vice president of the National Hay Association and will host the 120th National Hay Association in 2015.
