Lorraine F. Fries, 88, of North-ampton, died Nov. 23, 2012, at Gracedale, Upper Nazareth Township. She was the wife of the late Walter D. Fries.

Born in Crossroads, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Emma (Reinhard) Fehnel.

She was a secretary for the Lehigh New England Railroad. She was a tax collector fot Allen Township for eight years.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville.

She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Williams of Flagstaff, Ariz., and Vickie and her husband Dwayne Beller of Bath; a son, Walter II of Kreidersville; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.

Calling hours are 10 to 11 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m., Nov. 29, at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
