During the last week of October, when Hurricane Sandy hit eastern Pennsylvania, the Northwestern Lehigh School District was closed for five school days, Oct. 29 through Nov. 2.

The following dates are now full days for students: Jan. 21, Feb. 14, March 8 and 28, 2013.

There will be early dismissal Feb. 15, 2013.

Northwestern Elementary

The Holiday Shoppe will be open for students to purchase Christmas gifts for family and friends Dec.3-7.

Market Day pickup will be 5-6 p.m. Dec. 4 in the gym.

There will be a Partners in Education meeting 9:30 a.m. Dec. 7. Check with the office to determine where the meeting will be held.

The fifth grade winter concert will be presented 1:45 p.m. Dec. 6. Snow date is Dec. 7.

Weisenberg Elementary

The PTO mitten drive will take place between Dec. 3-14. Students will bring home information on this event.

Weisenberg's Holiday Shoppe will be open from Dec. 4-7. Students may purchase gifts for family and friends.

There will be a PTO meeting 9:15 a.m. Dec. 7 in room 145.
