Cary N. Schadt, 71, of North Whitehall Township, died Nov. 22, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Nickless) Schadt for 47 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Norman P. and Hannah L. (Sensinger) Schadt

He was a 1959 graduate of Allentown High School.

He was a Vietnam War veteran.

He was an assembler at Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown. and later worked in ground maintenance at the Lehigh Country Club.

He attended St. John Lutheran Church, Coplay.

He was a past president of both the Fullerton Fire Company and Mack Trucks golf leagues.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Coleen Setzer of Newside; a son, Craig Schadt of Sagersville; a granddaughter, Ciara; mother-in-law, Theresia Nickless of S. Whitehall Township; two sisters, Bonita and her husband Bernard Schwindenhammer of Allentown and Heather and her husband Greg Gogal of Allentown; nieces; and nephews.
