Edward C. Hilt, 60, of Slatington, died Nov. 2, 2012, in L.V. Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Elaine M. (Torick) Hilt for 26 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Edward F. and Stephanie (Yastrop) Hilt.

He was a Whitehall High School graduate.

He worked for Duggan and Marcon.

He attended St. John's United Church of Christ, Fullerton.

He was a member of Grouse Hall.

He was a member of District Council 21 Painters and Allied Trades Union Local 1269.

He is survived by a daughter, Tammy M. and her husband John Hilt of Emmaus; a son, Edward C. Jr. and his wife Sara of Schnecksville; a grandson, Chase; and a sister, Lonnie and her husband Joe Cadorette of Florida.
