Anne S. Gratz, 87, of Whitehall, died Oct. 23, 2012, in County Meadows of Allentown. She was the wife of Turney T. Gratz for 56 years.

Born in Bardstown, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Thomas J. and Jennie (Spalding) Stocker.

She taught for five years in Norfolk, Va., and for 30 years in the Easton Area School District, retiring in 1989.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, Whitehall.

She was a member of the Golden Agers of Whitehall and of the PSEA-R and PASR.

She is survived by three sons, Turney Jr. and his wife Jeanne of Lansing, Mich.; Hugh and his wife Roberta DeAngelis of Trenton, N.J., and Bob and his wife Nancy of Bethlehem; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
