American Legion Post 16 is presenting a Veterans Day service 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 11 at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 7293 Decatur St., New Tripoli.
Legionaires, Auxiliary and Sons of the American Legion will lead the service. Buglers will play "Taps."
The church's clothing closet will be open 6-8 p.m. Nov. 8, and 10 a.m.-noon Nov. 10.
There are free clothes for the entire family in men's, women's and children's sizes.
Take as much as you need. Proof of need is not required.
Clothing donations are not being accepted at this time.
Miller-Keystone Bloodmobile will be at Ebenezer 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Nov. 18. Donors do not need to be church members.

The Goodwill Fire Company No. 1, 6011 Memorial Road, Germansville is collecting non-perishable food, first aid supplies, water and blankets for survivors of Hurricane Sandy.
Drop off at the fire station 6:30-730 p.m. Nov. 9, 12, 14 and 16.
There are also drop off barrels at Katie's Restaurant, Route 309 and Northwest Road, New Tripoli, and the Bagel Bunch, in Northwest Centre, Routes 100 and 309, Heidelberg Township.

New Tripoli Fire Company is selling potato filling for Thanksgiving. Deadline to order is on Nov. 12.
Pickup is 10 a.m.-1 p.m. or 5-7 p.m. Nov. 21.
