Mary E. (Lawrence) Csicsek, 96, of Bethlehem, died Oct. 9, 2012, in her home. She was the wife of the late Charles "Chickie" M. Csicisek.
Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late John and Rose (Biro) Lawrence.
She worked for Laros Printery and, during World War II, for the Bethlehem Steel. She worked for Western Electric for 25 years, retiring in 1976.
She was a member of St. John Capistrano and was currently with Ss. Simon and Jude Catholic Church, Bethlehem. At the church, she was a member of its senior citizens group and was involved with various activities including baking for the church.
She was a member of the Telecom Pioneers.
She is survived by a son, Charles J., with whom she resided; five grandchildren, Charlotte and her husband Gary Helm of Bath, Charles J. Csicsek Jr. of Forks Township, Stephen C. Csicsek of Roseto, Charles J. Csicsek Jr. of Bethlehem and Shawn C. Csicsek of Hellertown; and six great grandchildren, Gary and Jonathan Helm, Tiffany, John, Ashlee and Ian Csicsek.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, John and Frank Lawrence; and two sisters, Anna Kovacs and Kathern Phillippi.
Arrangements were made by Connell Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
