Jacqueline Putting, M.D., 92, of Rye, N.Y., died Sept. 27, 2012, at St. Luke's Hospital and Health Network, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Elux C. Putting.
Born in Paris, France, she was a daughter of the late Marcel and Suzanne (Poisson) Genin.
She was in the U.S. Coast Guard auxiliary.
She was an ophthalmologist at N.Y.U. Hospital, Manhattan, N.Y. for 30 years. She then was in private practice for about seven years.
She is survived by three daughters, Francoise and her husband Steven Blitch of Piedmont, Calif., Benedicte Putting of Heemstede, Holland, and Anna and her husband Father Bazyl Zawierucha of Bethlehem; a brother, Felippe Genin of Paris, France; and nine grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Nannette Becker.
