Edward W. Ivankovits, 77, of Coplay, died Sept. 20, 2012, at his home. he was the husband of Margaret (Simitz) Ivankovits for 51 years.

Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late August and Johanna (Petrasovits) Ivankovits.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He was a millwrght for the former AT&T Microelectronics, Allentown. He previously was a plasterer and cement installer.

He was a member of the Coplay Saengerbund.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Mark and his wife Shirley, Christine and Edward; two grandsons, Andrew and Jacob Ivankovits; two sisters, Margaret Kish and Emma Bray; and a brother, John Ivankovits.

Contributions may be made to St. Peter R.C. Church or Lehigh Valley Hospice, both c/o the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, 18037.
