Catherine H. Updegrove, 87, of Northampton, died Sept. 28, 2012, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown. She was the wife of Ronald B. Updergrove for 65 years.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Michael and Katherine (Schimko) Fota.

She worked at Universal Pants Factory, Northampton.

She attended St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Barbara and her husband Glen Deily and Kathy A. and her husband Jeffrey Szerencsits Sr., all of Bath; a sister, Jeanette and her husband Robert Cesanek of Bath; two brothers, Michael and his wife Dorothy Fota of Hellertown and Joseph and his wife Gloria of Northampton; and a grandson, Will Stoudt.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Helen Strisofsky, Mary Hafner and Elizabeth Schneider; and a grandson, Michael Stoudt.
