Monica J. Gold, 65, of Bethlehem, died Sept. 13, 2012, in her home. She was the wife of Bruce J. Gold for the past 11 years and of the late Brian Brownmiller.
Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of Helen (Yurasits) Frisch of Bethlehem and the late John Frisch.
She worked at PPL Electric Utilities Corporation for 38 years, retiring as an administrative assistant in 2002.
She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, Northampton.
She was a volunteer at Sacred Heart Hospital Allentown and the Meals on Wheels, Bethlehem Chapter. She was a member of St. Peter and Paul Hungarian Club, Northampton.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by a stepdaughter, Stephanie and her husband Richard Koch of Danville; two stepsons, Scott and his wife Amy Gold of Bethlehem and Stuart and his wife Christine Gold of Doylestown; seven stepgrandchildren; an uncle; and cousins.
