John L. Geosits, 87, of Coplay, died Sept. 17, 2012, at Northampton Village. He was the husband of the late Rose M. (Schlager) Geosits.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late John and Anna (Reinisch) Geosits.

He was a repairman for the former Atlas Cement Company, Northampton.

He was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

He is survived by two grandchildren, Heather Lynn and her husband Kevin Corcoran and Ronald John and his wife Kjell; a brother, Frank and his wife Dorothy Geosits; two nieces, Sharon Geosits and Carol Miletics,and a nephew, Frank Geosits.

He was predeceased by a son, Ronald Robert Geosits.
