St. Mary's Church, Second and Union streets, will hold a pork and sauerkraut dinner 4:30-7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in the parish center.
The menu includes pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, applesauce, roll, butter, beverage and dessert.
You may purchase tickets in advance by calling the church office at 610-264-0332 or email kim. bil@verizon.net. Tickets will be available at the door and takeout will also be available.

St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, will hold a Blessing of the Animals Sunday, Oct. 7 at 8 a.m. in the fellowship hall. All pets are welcome.
Small animals must be kept in cages or aquariums and dogs must be leashed. Parents must accompany their children who bring animals. Arrange to take your pet home after the event.

The Catasauqua Fire Police will hold their third annual car show Saturday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Catasauqua Park.
There is a pre-registration per vehicle as well as a cost. Trophies will be awarded.
Food will be available and live music will be provided by Uncle Smiley's band. Vendors are welcome at a cost for a 10x10 foot space.
