There will be early dismissal on Oct. 5. Middle school will be dismissed at 10:50 a.m. The high school dismisses at 11 a.m. There will be no school Oct. 8 due to a teacher in-service day.

Giant A-plus school rewards will be available Oct. 7 through March 30, 2013.

Each school will have the opportunity to earn money through the program. To participate in this fundraiser go to giantfoodstores.com and enter last name and bonus card number.

Each school has a different code. Northwestern Elementary is 06379; Weisenberg Elementary is 06378; middle school is 05874 and the high school is 06381.

After registering, each shopping trip to Giant using a bonus card earns money for the school.

Even if the bonus card was registered last year, it needs to be reregistered this year for the school to receive credit.

High School

There will be a surplus equipment auction in the stadium parking lot at 1 p.m. Oct. 2.

Homecoming will be 7 p.m. Sept. 28. Why not stop by the stadium and watch as the 2012 Homecoming Queen is crowned.

There will be an Educational Foundation meeting 7 p.m. Oct. 1 in the administration board room.

Middle School

The sixth-grade social will take place 2:30-4:30 p.m. Sept. 28 in the cafeteria.
