Northwestern and Weisenberg elementary schools will dismiss at noon Oct. 5. There will be no school Oct. 8 for a teacher in-service day.

NWL Alumni basket bingo is scheduled for Sept. 30 at the Lynnport Fire Company, 7164 Behler Road, Lynnport.

Doors open 11:30 a.m. Bingo will start at 1 p.m. There will be three specials, hostess raffles and a Chinese auction.

Food will be available for purchase and there will be are door prizes. Bring a canned good for the Christ's Church at Lowhill Food Pantry and receive a free raffle ticket.

Tickets may be pre-purchased and held at the door for pickup.

Northwestern Elementary

Market Day pickup is scheduled for 5-6 p.m. Oct. 2.

There will be a Partners In Education meeting in the Computer Lab 6 p.m. Oct. 3.

Safety Day will take place Oct. 5. Students will learn how to be safe both inside their homes and outside.

Weisenberg Elementary

There will be a PTO meeting in the library 6:30 p.m. oOct. 2.

The PTO is once again collecting Box Tops! Box Tops is an easy way to help the PTO support more activities and events at Weisenberg.

Your child will receive papers detailing what to do to participate in this fundraiser.
