East Penn Events and Happenings

Sept. 26

East Penn School District schools will be closed in celebration of Yom Kippur.

Sept. 27

Emmaus High School will host parent night 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the school. Parents will have a chance to follow their child's Day 1 schedule and meet their teachers while receiving information concerning curricular content and classroom expectations. There will also be a club fair fundraiser for student organizations held in Cafeteria 1.

Sept. 28

Alburtis Elementary School will hold picture day.

Alburtis Elementary School will hold market day pickup 5 to 6 p.m. at the school.

Emmaus High School will extend homeroom by 10 minutes to hold ninth grade class officer elections.

Eyer Middle School will hold their "Eyer Fall Frolic" 2:30 to 5 p.m. in the gym, cafeteria, commons and outside the school. There will be food, rides, games and many other activities. The festival is the only PAWS fundraising event of the year and all proceeds will benefit the PAWS reward program. There is an Oct. 1 rain date for the event.

Lower Macungie Middle School will hold sixth grade activity night 6 to 8 p.m. at the school.

Oct. 2

Lower Macungie Middle School progress reports for the first marking period will be posted on the Home Access Center parent portal.

Willow Lane Elementary School will hold market day pickup at the school.

The Jefferson Elementary School PTO will meet 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the school.

The Alburtis Elementary School PTO will meet 7 to 8 p.m. at the school.

Oct. 3

Lincoln Elementary School will hold a PTO meeting update 9 to 9:30 a.m. in the principal's conference room.

Jefferson Elementary School will hold an eagle assembly 10 to 11 a.m. at the school.
