Northampton hosted its only home cross country meet last week.

Senior Alec Lederer won the meet in 16:23. He set a Northampton course record and missed the overall course record by just one second.

Chris Traugher won a medal in finishing 10th in 17:30. Ian Wright had the 9th fastest time on the course in Northampton history in 18:21. Lucas Yost had the 10th fastest time on the course in Northampton history in 19:14

For the girls, Hayley Jackson won a medal finishing fourth in 20:30. That is the 23rd fastest time ever on course for a female. It was also the second fastest time for a Northampton runner.

Joelle Perelli won a medal finishing seventh in 20:57. That was the third fastest time for a Northampton runner on the course. It also set a female freshman record for Northampton.

Brooke Durnin had the ninth fastest time on the course in Northampton history in 23:00.

Makayla Miller won a medal in the JV race finishing as the third girl in 25:16

The girls team won the runner-up trophy as they finished second among 15th teams.
