There will be no school Sept. 21 for teacher in-service day.

A district-wide procedure is in place for identifying visitors in the building.

When entering a school for any reason, visitors are asked to signing in on a form with a sticky label that needs to be worn in the building at all times.

Giant A-plus school rewards will be available Oct. 7 through March 30, 2013.

Each school will have the opportunity to earn money through the program.

To participate in this fundraiser go to giantfoodstores.com and enter last name and bonus card number.

Each school has a different code. Northwestern Elementary is 06379; Weisenberg Elementary is 06378; middle school is 05874 and the high school is 06381.

After registering, each shopping trip to Giant using a bonus card earns money for the school.

Even if the bonus card was registered last year, it needs to be reregistered this year for the school to receive credit.

Northwestern Elementary

Picture Day at NWE is Sept. 26. Students will need to turn in their paperwork the day their picture is taken to order pictures.

Market Day pickup will be 5-6 p.m. Oct. 2 in the gym.

There is a Partners in Education meeting at 6 p.m. Oct. 3. Check with the office to determine where the meeting will take place.

Weisenberg Elementary

School pictures will be taken Sept. 27. Students will be bringing home the picture forms soon. Students must submit their picture envelope with packet choice on this day for an order to be placed.

Weisenberg will not be taking spring pictures this year.

There will be a PTO meeting 6:30 p.m. Oct. 2 in the library.
