Wyatt's Jamboree and Motorcycle Run 2012 will take place noon-8 p.m. Sept.15 at the Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club Pavilion, 8100 Gun Club Road, New Tripoli. Rain date is Sept. 16.

The run is help Wyatt Newhard, a 7-year-old cancer survivor who was diagnosed with Stage 4 neuroblastoma cancer at age 3.

He was in remission but at age 6, he and his family learned the cancer returned.

Sign up 10 a.m.-noon for the motorcycle run at The Bagel Bunch, Routes 309 and 100, New Tripoli.

Admission fee includes the run, games, Chinese auction, raffles, food, drinks and music.

Morgenland Church's Sunday school season begins 10 a.m. Sept. 9.

The children will again sing during the church service on the third Sunday of each month beginning in October.

The Federated Board of the church has authorized a Cash for Causes fundraiser.

Gift cards are available for Giant, Redner's and Weis markets. The church receives 5 percent of every sale when the cards are purchased.

The Sunday School is selling Enjoy The City coupon books in the church narthex or by calling the church at 610-395-0067.

The church is having its final picnic of the year 3-9 p.m. Sept. 8 with music provided by Midnight Special.

Pitches for Porter Lilley will again be an activity at the picnic. The ball throw will be open 4-8 p.m.

All monies raised will be donated to Porter as he continues his battle against acute lymphoblastic leukemia.

There will be a donation jar at the site for those that do not want to compete but would like to donate.

Weisenberg-Lowhill Historical Society, Werley's Corner and Holben Valley Road, will be holding its Spoatyahr Fesht noon-6 pm. Sept. 8 and 9.

Musical entertainment will be provided by Jack Snyder and Friends on Saturday and The Majestics on Sunday.

Each band will be perform three sets 2-2:45 p.m.; 3:15-4 p.m. and 5-5:45 p.m.

New to the event this year is the the Miller-Keystone Bloodmobile noon-5 p.m. Sept. 8.

Anyone who would like to donate blood, may call Bill at 610-217-3934 to schedule an appointment.

Walk-in blood donations will also be accepted.
