Dorothea M. Eichelberger, 84, of Northampton, died Aug. 17, 2012, at her home. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Eichelberger.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Hoffman) Smith.

She was a manager at the former Hellertown Bakery, Northampton, for 25 years before retiring in 1995. She was the former secretary for Zion Stone Cemetery, Kreidersville, for 29 years.

She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville. At the church, she was a eucharistic minister for 13 years and a member of the Lutheran Women's Group. She was a Sunday school teacher for 36 years.

She is survived by three daughters, Sandra A. Andrews of Allentown, Linda C. and her husband Scott Ganoung of Whitehall and Karen E. and her husband Floyd Muth of Allentown; two sons, Wayne R. and his wife Anne of Northampton and Robert J. and his wife Cheryl of Treichlers; a brother, Harold Smith of Northampton; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son-in-law, David R. Andrews.
