The 16th annual Parkland Trojan Alumni Varsity Club golf tournament will take place Aug. 17 at Iron Lakes Country Club, 3625 Shankweiler Road, North Whitehall. The tournament will take place rain or shine.

Participants are invited for coffee and doughnuts at 6:45 a.m.

At 7:30 a.m., an opening ceremony with bagpipes, dedicated to the memory of the late David Davis, club member and supporter of Parkland sports, will take place.

Refreshments will be available along the course.

The event will conclude with a pig roast feast at Willow Tree Grove.

All proceeds benefit the Parkland Trojan Alumni Varsity Club scholarship fund.
