CONTRIBUTED PHOTOVisitors from multiple foreign countries recently made a stop at Atlas Cement Company Memorial Museum, 1401 Laubach Ave., Northampton. The visitors included two staff members from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and representatives attending a symposium working on cement projects globally. The group System IQ was led by International Council for Buildings and Climate, the Rocky Mountain Institute and the cement lead at the Natural Resources Defense Council. They were welcomed by Northampton Mayor Tony Pristash. In addition to their visit to the museum, they also visited the Schoefer kilns in Coplay.
